Ice cream and vicodin that is. Strange combination…but not when you just got your wisdom teeth removed. To be honest, it doesn’t hurt too much anymore. I was an anesthesia virgin, and being the big chicken that I am, I asked for my surgeon to knock me completely out. He did, and I still don’t remember what happened hours afterwards. It’s like being blackout drunk without the horrendous hangover the next morning (it did make me throw up though, one of the few things I vaguely remember after waking up). My mumzy crushed up a vicodin pill and dissolved it in water so I could drink it in my poor state. I was loopy and my throat and jaw were swollen. I won’t divulge too much into the nasty details, but the next two days were mostly me sleeping and playing video games. Couldn’t eat much either; soup, mashed taters, and a bit of ice cream (tried a magnum bar, but my mouth couldn’t open wide enough it turned into a bit of a mess). But now that I’m in a fully conscious state, I can tell you that the swelling is starting to go down and I can actually move the lower half of my face. Still a little swollen and painful, but nothing ice cream and vicodin can’t fix.
